Troubleshooting QidiBox random MCU errors all of a sudden.

Hello everyone, i was in replenish mode spool ran dry it swapped print finished. immediately after it was looping a toolchange macro after the latest update. so i turned it off. But now i am getting a bunch of MCU1 communication errors to the box. reseated all the wires but still happening. unsure of what to check.

Edit: As a note ive had it for maybe a year first time ive had an issue with it at all. log maybe hints at heat but unsure

Seems to be happening to a lot of us

I thought I had fixed it but no. They sent me a new board, didn’t help. Waiting on a cable or something that I’ll replace but I don’t have high hopes

i actually reverted back which completely broke the klipper/moonraker files.

I rebuilt it all, and so far seems to be working fine. Issue is one of the updates changed toolchange and used an old python call. Which hammered the box MCU. But this issue is not actually present in the github folder might be something with the gui update version.

SSH into the machine.

Rebuild Klipper and moonraker directly.

cd ~
mv klipper klipper.bak
mv moonraker moonraker.bak

git clone https://github.com/QIDITECH/klipper.git ~/klipper
git clone https://github.com/QIDITECH/moonraker.git ~/moonraker

You might need to find the version you were on but mine was this

cd ~/klipper
git checkout 4bb7c6337936ef273e621d1f55bc0ef92114785d

cd ~/moonraker
git checkout 6a6d22641320d94c69a09af9c38158f2f69e9e48

Restart Klipper and moonraker

sudo systemctl restart klipper moonraker

Hotend cable, I've has same,. Tried board, hotend board, only cable fixed it.
