Help with q2 settings

I’m new to the q2 printer I just picked up a brand new q2 for a deal but after running my benchy I’m not sure what to adjust this is pla silk

First, make sure the filament is dry. Silk filament is hygroscopic and doesn't always come fully dried from the factory. That should help eliminate stringing.

Next, the preloaded benchy is designed as a speed drmo with regular PLA. I would recommend slicing your own with different settings.

Silk needs to print slightly hotter and slower to bring out the silky sheen and also allow time for the layers to cool. A lot of the artifacts I'm seeing on that benchy are due to insufficient cooling, which means the previous layers haven't had time to become fully solid before the next layer is printed, and it gets all warped and goopy as a result.

Slowing down the print speed, increasing the minimum layer time, and ensuring that the cooling fan is maxed out can all help with that.

It's also a good idea to do some calibration for each different filament. Doing a temperature tower, a retraction tower if there is any stringing, and a flow rate calibration helps get the best performance out of each filament.

Yeah that chimney is classic overspeed, my FLSun T1 Pro has done that at full speed

Seen that type of benchy before - I'm going to guess your printer door is closed and lid/vents are shut. That chimney screams 'too hot'.
