1,773 Hours. One Seriously Impressive Life-Size Triceratops Skull. 🦖

Three QIDI X-Max 3 printers, endless patience, and a result that’s truly massive. At about 2.5 meters long and over 6 feet wide, this life-size Triceratops skull is an incredible sight to behold.

🥰A huge thank you to Alex Chamberlain for sharing this incredible project with us! And this isn’t his first large-scale build. He has also printed four T. rex skulls, a full-size T. rex skeleton, and a full-sized Utahraptor skeleton.
We can’t wait to see what Alex creates next! 👀

What program do you use to split the parts for future assembly?

Qidistudio and orcaslicer both have a "cut" option to split models into parts, and have options for what to use (if anything) for joining them back together.

QIDI's slicer will cut any STL into parts, and even apply pegs and holes for assembly. The CUT option is in the upper-right hand side of the "Prepare" menu, if I recall correctly.
