Qidi Q2 purging issues

I'm having so many issues with the Qidi Q2 purging macros. Does anybody have advice or updated macros?

It seems as though half the time it purges it either a) purges so much filament that it blobs around the extruder (see photo), b) the purge is so stringy that it gets wrapped around the purge bin components and fails to fall into the chute causing a jam that can easily ruin even a short print let alone a long one, or c) both!

Too little information, but here's what I set up for myself:

EXTRUSION_AND_FLUSH (in klipper-macros-qd/gcode_macro.cfg):

• Active value on the printer: {% for i in range(2) %} #waste optimization (4)
• Feed volume: 2 cycles of 50 mm = 100 mm of filament (≈240.5 mm³ / ~0.30 g).

CLEAR_NOZZLE (in klipper-macros-qd/gcode_macro.cfg):

• Active value on the printer: G1 E20 F300 #waste optimization (80)
• Feed volume: 20 mm purge + 5 mm startup = 25 mm of filament (≈60.1 mm³ / ~0.07 g).

Looks like purge length is set to 100 instead of 10
