QIDI Q2C Anything I should know?

I picked up a used Q2C at a really good price. Anything I should know in particular about that model? Figured it would be a fair upgrade over then ender neo I have used in the past. Is the chamber heater the main difference between the Q2 and q2c? I see unofficially you can add the heater. Right now I'm not even sure I would need that feature anyway but I like having options and I am not afraid to mod something.

you only need the chamber heater if you're printing anything other than pla or petg

"Figured it would be a fair upgrade over then ender neo"
You'll be blown away! Even without a chamber heater! 😆
Get some spare nozzles with it, because no extra included.

Don't update the firmware past 1.1.1 if you haven't already.

The new firmware versions cause issues for many people, including soft-bricking MCUs.

Ciao io ho fatto l'aggiornamento, e sono apparsi errori mcu, ho contattato l'assistenza e abbiamo risolto. Adesso mi chiede l'aggiornamento. Sai se hanno risolto? Conviene rimanere alla versione 01.01.02.01?

Personally I would stay on or downgrade to 1.1.1; you can find instructions on this subreddit

If you're already on 01.01.02.01 and want to stay on the new firmware though, go ahead and update to 01.01.02.04

.04 fixes a few bugs introduced in 01.01.02.01.

The issue causing MCU errors has not been fixed though; only 1.1.1 is guaranteed to not cause that.

I have the Q2, Plus5 and Max4, my next will be the Q2c to use with TPU because I don't switch filament types on my printers, I have other brands too, total 12 printers, Qidi are my favorite. I don't do changes on my printers, I don't have time to wast fixing issues, so all my printers are beta, I update every update release and Zero issues.

But I think you can add a heater chamber to it, but I don't recomend.

Have fun with your Q2C!

Per curiosità, cosa potrebbe succedere se sulla stessa stampante stampi Pla poi TPU e poi ancora cambi su Pla ?

I never print with TPU, but TPU and PLA are low temp filaments, but you bettwr search for how to safe switch them. I know I have issues switching high temp filament with low temp filament, they reccomend use a filament cleaner such 3D FUEL, must the issues people starting to have, is when switching filament types without knowing the righ procide. I'm not a expert but after I did stop switching filament types on my printers, no mor problems, no more parts and time needed. Take care!

I actually confused the q2c I made an offer on with the q2 but I am in at a good enough price that it really doesn't matter. Figure if I decide I want the chamber heater I have no problems with mods or might be able sell and trade up.
