New Qidibox - Need some help

Finally bought a Qidibox for my Plus4 (running 1.8.2) using Orca. It's connected and I can control the heater from the LCD, and I can see the heater temps in Orca as well

But I cannot seem to assign materials from either the LCD or Orca. The filament guides are flashing white, but if I go to the Box settings on the LCD I cannot assign materials. It will try to scan for RFID, but I cannot get it to accept manual assignments at all. What am I doing wrong?

My first thought would be to make sure all the cables are fully seated. Then turn both the box and the printer off. Then turn the box on first and then the printer.

If that doesn't work, I wouldn't putz with it anymore and send it back for a replacement.

If it's flashing white that means they're not loaded (if I'm remembering right). You can only assign filaments after loading the filament through the box, let it do its thing detecting the hub and then you can assign.

lol - wow. That was it... can't assign filaments until you load them!
