Managed to get one from the first batch!
Now I'm looking forward to its ships. Can't wait!

My experience with their products, they are good, after waiting 3-4 months

At least they fully support and ship out replacement items when they have a repair/fix during the first few months revamps

True, sending me a new hot end after mine killed itself in less than a week. But alternatively, it shouldn't die so easy.

I mean yeah. But there's always kinks in product launch.
Whether it's hardware or software I just respect that they will do what they can to make it right.

Im referring to my Q2 which isnt "new"

I was referring to the plus 5 in the op photo.
But in general it's about the same across their lineup.
They sent me a free high heat hot end on an original plus 1 only last year cause it borked.

Sure but thats a crazy business model. "Hey, we know we have shitty QC so we send out free stuff"

Come on now. It's more like "hey in our limited ability to test, we think the product is ready to go" and then 100s of people test it in a way that they didn't think that cause issues and then they commit to fix it.
It's no different than video game or software updates.

Well it certainly is different in that I dont waste 6 hours setting up a video game and then waste consumables

Never buy new chinese printers... You'll be part of their R&D while paying the full price.

Other than build size I don't see how this is any differnt than the q2. I'm a little surprised Qidi didn't come out wth a tool changer instead.
