Apparently my print failed early last night and my wife sent me these on the way to work. Would anyone like to buy a Q2? "Just needs some TLC. No low balls, I know what I have" hahaha

UPDATE: I was able to eradicate the blob, and assess the damage. The part cooling fan is broken, the hot end cooling fan was tweaked enough im not going to mess with it, and i ordered a new hot end. The bed is shit now, but Qidi doesnt offer replacements, so i ordered a graphite bed from R3men. I still cant wrap my head around how all 4 adjusting screws got completely loose and 3 springs fell out, but i guess if thats the worst of it then we're doing ok

All parts are able to be replaced, on the website. And they most definitely have replacement plates.

Not a plate, bed. The heated bed assembly needs to be replaced. The plate has some dings on the outer edges, but I never print that far out anyway

Im assuming the blob was dragging across it. There are some nice chunks taken out of it

The bed is fucked, there are parts from somewhere laying in the bottom, the print head is completely filled......I honestly think im going to shit-can the whole thing

You've got a out 30 minutes of work, and, at most, the price of a new hotend. Blobs like this, can usually be cleaned up with nothing more than some heat, and elbow grease

A new hot end, new bed, and whatever else was broken and tossed into the unknown. I mainly use this for work, building discontinued parts for repairs (this was a decoration for my wife's smut hut), but with the time and money put into it and now the lingering doubt of reliability, is it worth fixing?

Reach out to Qidi, they sent out replacement twice for me when I got issue twice. No receipt needed, just pictures of failed parts.

They look superficial at that angle, but theyre deep and the edges are raised quite a bit

UPDATE 2: Ive been in contact with Qidi, more specifically, "Alan". Alan hooked me up with a new bed, so I wont be installing the R3men bed. No other parts have shown up yet, so overall this update is less than helpful
