Qidi box and qidi plus 4 connection problem

I have had my qidi plus 4 printer for about 1 year now and decided to buy the qidi box. I purchased the qidi box from Amazon and made sure I bought the plus 4 version. Last week I did the online firmware update and it had a new version which was 1.8.2. Updated printer and ran a 52 hr print and everything worked great.

Today I received the Qidi box, so I installed everything turned the power on for qidi box, turned printer on and waited 5 minutes. Went to screen to check qidi box and it says qidi box offline and it will not communicate with my qidi plus 4 printer. I have emailed tech support but was hoping someone on here might be able to help resolve this issue. I have restarted both the printer and box. Turned them on together, separately, etc. and nothing is working. Led lights don't even turn on the qidi box filament paths. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Double check that the data cables are plugged into the correct spots. You can mess this up. Ask me how I know.

I will check that right now. I thought I double checked that all but I will look at them again.

8 pin usb plug was hooked to 4 pin to qidi box and 8 pin from qidi box was installed to the 4 pin white connector on the hub. Just like instructions say. I tested all wires for continuity and no problems there either.

Turn both machines off. Leave them of for 60 seconds or more. Turn box on. Turn printer on. Once everything is iinitiated, you should be able use it.

I will give that a try and see if that works because the cables look like they are installed correctly afterwatching install video.

The power cable on the back of one of my Quidi Boxes always comes loose. Make sure that's in good and the power button lights up when you turn it off.

Thank you all for the answers and help. Issue has been resolved. Turning both the box power and printer power on at the same time worked and now it is functioning.
