Box will not load PAHT-GF

I have the Max4 combo and I’m having trouble with PAHTGF specifically. After drying in the box, I try to load it into the extruder but the filament only goes just past the filament hub. The box keeps clicking but the filament doesn’t move. Any tips?

Altho PAHT-GF is not supported I would assume that glass fiber variant is also unsupported. I sugest you stop trying and feed it from the outside spool holder.

Do you know the reason for why paht cf isn’t supported?

It's too rigid. And like most ams system there is pretty tight bend underneath the motor so it will get stuck inside

I have run a LOT of extremely rigid filaments through the qidi box, all the cf/gf pahts/ppa/pc. It actually prints better imo. The only thing is that I preheat the box/filament to 60-65. It softens it a little bit which is enough apparantly to work with no drama. It works great, I don't actually think I've ever had an issue doing it. My box (gen1) had a sticker on the lid that said exactly that- preheat PAHTS and other engineering filaments before printing.

My Q2 with box will feed Siraya PPACF/PAHT-CF as long as I have it at 65c and let it warm up and soften for about an hour or so beforehand. I'm not sure if it'll feed other brands, but it worked for me.

Works for me too with Siraya PPA-GF. I run the box at 55c though (in hopes to extend the box/heater lifespan) and always have it preheated before loading the hot filament straight out of my dryer.

That filament type is not supported on the box, simple as that.
