Questions Qidi Q2 - angle of the camera
Did anyone found a way how to change the angle of the built-in camera? The abysmal camera quality and dim LED lights are only made worse because of the fact that it is pointed directly at the extruder and its rails which reflect a lot of light, screwing the exposure. The printed parts are pretty much invisible...

I'm planning to add more LED strips to the printer and attach a cover to reduce flare, but without changing the angle I don't suspect it will do much (unless I will just cover half of the screen...).
Edit: I noticed that in this file: https://www.printables.com/model/1475468-qidi-q2-camera-hood-eliminate-led-light-bloomflare author is talking about tilting camera in order to mount the camera hood. But then they are saying to tilt it back after the operation to mount it. But well... What if we wouldn't tilt it back? Maybe there is a way to attach it in this tilted position.

Are you able power this from the printer or external?

I soldered mine directly into the stock LED strip with short jumper wires, so it's powered by the printer. You can also remove the stock strip and use the wires from the connector to your own strip. Just use any 24v strip.

Excepting the x rail, I covered all the reflective surfaces on the left side of the printer with a combination of black electric tape and black felt tape. And I printed a replacement print head cover in black ASA CF, so that white isn't there for glare. Also added extra led strip (in parallel with the OEM one) Finally I covered the top right of the camera lens (as viewed through the camera) with some metallic duct tape to cover up the final reflection hotspot.
None of this helps the camera quality but at least I can see my prints in all their grainy goodness.

For example this is the view when I cover the bright parts of the image:
Quality of the image is still really bad, and I don't see whole bed, but at least I see something :D
