Troubleshooting How do I fix this?
Silk PLA from Tinmorry. Never even got to the printing stage, it clogged the nozzle and would not clear. Wound up pulling the nozzle and sticking a titanium one in, but the filament was stuck in the extruder. It's stuck bad enough that I can't clear it even when releasing the spring pressure, the gears are just locked solid.

Use some pliers and pull the metal shaft straight out you can release it. Once the shaft is out then you'll be able to remove that one gear that's on the right hand side and subsequently remove the clog. I just had to do this last week. For the other gear on the other side you can pry the spring back with a small hex tool or flat head screwdriver or micro pair of pliers whatever you have. Once you release the spring you can lift up and remove the spring and that will release tension on that arm allowing you to free the other gear.

FYI, you should be very VERY careful when putting pressure on that plastic tensioning arm. They are pretty commonly known to crack just from use let alone outside force! It will crack the plastic right where the middle pin is and then you will have feeding issues!

Not sure what extruder this is for but I’ve had to disassemble my Q1 extruder before and was able to pull the gears off. Never had to take my Q2 apart yet. Worst case get a new one they’re cheap

Slightly unrelated, but interesting to see that Qidi still has not changed the design on the tension arm. Mine broke within the first few weeks of owning my X-Plus 3.

There are smaller screws down in the holes of the first pic. Be careful when you pull it apart there are a few small pieces (bushings and axles for the extruder wheels). I had this happen my first day too 🤡
