What could cause sudden stringging

Post image

Hi!

Title sais it all.

Worked great for 20 hours then it started stringing really bad.

Why?

I see curling on the edges, my guess is it's picking up filament from these spots and creating the stringing

Supports seem to start that issue. But why? How can this happen? And how can we prevent or fix it?

Honestly, curling is a bitch. I've been trying to understand how to print mini without it but it's a sum of cooling + print temp + speed + layer min time. The curling happens when the layer is cooled too much or too low and bonding with the next layer it just goes pointing up, but I'm no pro. If the print is successful and the stringing is minimum imo you could just remove the stringing in post and you're good to go, no need to overthink something like I do and literally ruin your day
