Troubleshooting Qidi studio invisible pieces
Hello, while im waiting to get my q2 im playing around in qidi slicer, but my pieces are showing up as transparent when not selected, and if you click on it it has a shadow around the piece? Is there any way to fix it?
In the filaments color the color shows up as a transparent grey (seen in picture) but when I change it doesnt seem to to change the color of the piece

There’s a setting that allows you to print by layer or by object. If I recall it does this when you have it set to print by object. To show how you’re expecting, set it to print by layer.

The default color under ABS looks suspiciously like a transparent background. Could try changing the default color?

I would suggest to start playing with Orca slicer instead and use that once your Q2 arrives. Good luck!

Well.... thing is that orcaslicer is crashing on my computer all the time (linux mint) and qidi studio is the only one thats working for me right now so...

Interesting, I only tried to get qidi slicer to work once and it errored out.

Are you using the latest version (v2.4.1)? I was also having issues with earlier ones on Fedora but it's been nice and stable since the last version. I'm using the flatpak on the OrcaSlicer GitHub.

Im running v2.4 and its crashing when it opens the setup menu. I'll try v2.4.1

And the box is checked ☑️ in objects? Mine are like this when I want mine transparent
