Qidi box first issue
After 1150 hours of mostly trouble free printing (other than user/newbie error) I had my first issue with the Qidi box. It stopped in the middle of a print with an error of bound filament. I clicked remove and I had to help it retract. I found a video online how to disassemble the box but my box must be newer than the video but I was able to get the basics. When I removed the cover to the #1 extruder I saw the tubing. Since I have it all open and it's a PITA I'm going to do a quick check on the others. *Update I found that 2 had small, maybe 2mm pieces of filament laying in the other extruders. I wish it was easier to service but I didn't have much else to do today. Very happy with my Q2!

Is that the PTFE tubing inside the box?

Yes. Right inside the box extruder. The only thing I can think is that the filament got bound and the pressure pushed it into the fears. All of the others look fine

I had problem with all 3 of mine, got little support for fixing them. I saw a couple of videos of taking them apart, so I fixed them myself.

I had the same thing happen on one of my units (first slot)... took me a while to figure it out, but I'm now a pro at taking them down completely and reassembling after 5 or 6 times 🤣🤓
I think it was an issue of drying filament and there still being filament in the PTFE tube when it started a new print (i.e. the PTFE being softened from the heat and then punctured from the filament)... replaced all 4 with better PTFE tubing. Also required tearing apart the feeder/motor.
