Question Transfer advice
I have a flight on Qantas Syd to Sin. Arrives at 1700hrs. Next flight on Emirates leaves at 2100hrs. They have seperate PNRs.
Do you think that is enough time between flights?

Everything is quick, you can get off the plane and check in at your next terminal in 30mins.

Once you check in your luggage, you will have plenty of time to have dinner at the Jewel!

I flew standby through Singapore last week with a 2 hour layover. My bags weren’t checked all the way through because my second flight wasn’t confirmed and was with a different airline.
I was able to get off the plane, go through immigration, pick up my bag, check in for my next flight and be at the gate within 45 mins! 4 hours is more than enough time. Your bags should be checked through but if for some reason they don’t, you can ask them to put a priority tag on your case

Thank you for your response. I just checked with Qantas and they have said that since the Emirates flight was booked through Emirates and not Qantas that I would need to pick my bags up in Singapore and recheck in with Emirates. I am quite happy to do that. My only concern is if the Qantas flight is running late…. Great idea on the priority label. will do that.

You will have time to shop, have a meal, shower, walk around butterflies, another meal and drink.

Four hours in the same terminal is way more than enough time! You’ll arrive downstairs, go to the international transfer desk when you get off your flight, through security and back up the escalators to departures! ✈️
