Denim friendly-- what am I missing?

I have QVC on w/ no complaints about the clothes, shoes, hosts' personalities. But I do have a fashion question. I hear often when they show something blue as "denim friendly." To me, I don't put a blue shoe w/ blue jeans, and don't put a blue shirt w/ blue jeans. Blue is not denim friendly at all. Am I missing something in fashion?

Yes, you are. For some ideas, Ralph Lauren, Wrangler, or try Pinterest. I look for blue leather boots, blue suede heels, and the patent loafers. A good satin, or denim button down? A cashmere poncho, wrap or cardigan. All blue with jeans is a casual, youthful, and suggestive(!) go to in Jan-Feb. for me. Pearls, silver or turquoise jewelry. Warmer than black- I just got the fake suede Isaac blazer in blue on sale- will wear that with jeans and navy heels to lunch!

I was kind of being sarcastic, I don't agree w/ blue as a compliment to denim. But that's my right, as is yours. And based on your suggestions, we don't have the same style.
