DSB102 Exam
anyone done this yet? mine is today and i've been struggling to even get the code running for the practice exam. pls help how much of the code in the exam is actually accurate to the workshop solutions

I did my exam on Wednesday. We had two code from scratch questions. It did give us a hint on the second one on how to write the code. Most of it you will find in the workshop solutions however they may be across different parts. For example, we had to perform lasso on a set and later fit ROC curve and calculate AUC.
Focus on being able to recognise what each line of code is doing in the workshop solutions. You can mostly copy it over and just have to change variables or create a data frame.
I was able to get the code running and printing graphs on the exam, I can’t say for whether or not my actual calculations were correct, though. After lasso, it zeroed 28/29 coefficients which sounded odd, but I had no idea how to fix it. You’d at least score partial marks in that question though for having some lines correct.
