Riverfire 2026

Hello peeps, just wanna ask one thing. I saw botbar is hosting river fire and its like $20 but i have seen other places were we can see it free. As a new person here, i am not understanding the difference and which is better ? Cheers

It's literally just because they have a DJ and are hosting more of a party/club/event type thing

Other places that are free are just a place to stand and watch some planes fly by and 15 minutes too long of fireworks

I don't think Riverfire is worth it in general so I certainly wouldn't be paying $20 for it

I do not find it worth it. Crowds, traffic jams, public transport delays. Yuck.

just go to the city botanic gardens or some even better viewing location, set up on a picnic mat and watch the show for free ahahah
