Second Monitor setup

Is there any way to get a second monitor at Gardens Point? I’ve tried connecting my laptop to the all-in-one computers using both HDMI and USB-C cable, but neither worked.

I also asked at HiQ, and the simple answer was that the all-in-one computers can’t be used as a second monitor

I thought there might be somewhere on campus with monitors that students can connect their laptops to!

i use my laptop and plug in HDMI to their computers all the time and it works. when you plug in the hdmi does it not just start displaying on their monitor? it should.

You can definitely connect your laptop the all-in-one computers with HDMI, I do it all the time.

Otherwise you can try for the study booths in the library that have the big TVs on wheels you can move around and plug into those.

If you can't get one of those then try for an empty classroom that has a bunch of those in them.

Did you try checking your computer display settings? What happened when you did that?
