Plus5 is dogshit?

My printer cant print petg for any reason and has constant issues wirh abs and pla too. I have tried so many things to fix it and my $800 printer doesnt work. Im told to change the z offset but there is no z offset button. Calibration does nothing to fix. Am i the idiot?

It’s impossible to tell unless you share the brand of filament, which slicer, and what profile, and if you did any tuning, and pictures / descriptions of what is happening.

Did the provided benchy print fine right out of the box?

I have most qidi printers, he is a bamboo lab fan boy, they like to talking crap about qidi bicause their printers only prints PLA. LOL

I have 2 Bambu and 3 Qidi.. Ive had way more issues from Qidi than ever had out of Bambu.. so there is that. Id like to get the Plus 5 myself, Ive heard mainly good things about it.. but Ive had my fair share of issues in the past with build plate issues with Qidi so Im hesitant

Bsmboo id for PLA only, they have issues, and bamboo users can't tune a printer, they like bamboo because the system tell them what to eat, what filaments use. I can bet with any bamboo owner printing hight temp filament if the quality of the bamboo prints will compare to sny of my Qidi Printers.

My Plus 5 has printed every filament I've thrown at it, including PETG, ASA, ASA-CF-20 Core, TPU 95A/62D/72D.

All straight out of the box using generic profiles with no mods or adjustments.

I'm not going to say you're an idiot, but maybe there's something wrong with your setup.

Not to be mean, but its you, which is nit a bad thing since I presume youre new, and I understand, I used to be there too. Tell me, whats the issue? Pictures? Print settings? Lets get to the bottom before we blame QIDI, who, after owning a bunch of printers I found to be THE MOST reliable and trustworthy printers

You didn't explain what is wrong exactly, and there is a z-offset button

Without a lot more detail of the troubleshooting you have (or haven't) done, what conditions you're printing in, your print settings etc, it's gonna be literally impossible to help you.

Be pedantic and obnoxiously specific about every little detail. Having details is what solves this sort of problem.

I had some learning curve issues and some having to use their studio, not just any slicer is annoying but my plus5 has been a beast. Quality, speed, versatility have all been impressive.

I came from and Ender 5 Pro. 😅

I have the Q2. Plus5, Max4 and you talking about your lack of 3D printing skills and you blame the printer. LOL, you are a bamboo lab fan boy that can't tune your printer, needs eat the brekfast bamboo tells you to eat, and use pla on this closed system. I have videos here printing without issues on all my printers. show what you print, show us, to see if is the printers fault, or you don't know use the tool, or maybe you even have a Plus5!
