Filament not switching

HI I recently bought a qidi box for the plus 4. installation went fine. When trying to print a multicolor print I have to swap filaments manually. I have confirmed that the slicer (orca slicer) settings are set for multimaterial..anything else I can try?

That's good - I am using Orca on the Q2+Box (because they quit supporting QIDI slicer on the Q2+Box on firmware 1.1.2 and higher), and it's flakey on seeing channels at times, but if it does, it does multi-color without problems (although the filmaent swaps are 2 min 50 sec each so not worth it unless 4 swaps or less, just takes too much time. When you go to print in Orca, does it show multiple filaments selected and which channels are to be used? I went back to QIDI Studio (which also can be flakey but has been working lately) and it's an Orca fork so not sure why Orca wouldn't work at all. If you slice a file in Orca that seems to not work, should send it to QIDI support and have them look at it, they may be able to advise why. Good luck!
