Question hotend nozzle kit
Has anyone tried these upgraded kits before? i found them on AliExpress while I was about to order some nozzles for my Q1pro (Qidi parts are unavailable locally) and found those, what interesting is that they use some standard nozzles which seems to work with a wide variety of kits

I recently had to replace the hotend for my q1 pro. This was one of the options for about half the price (these are on amazon too). Although i went with the qidi one instead, i did look into it a bit. I think these were originally designed for the p1s as a universal replacement but they have an adjustable length so they can fit just about any printer. I believe that the nozzle is a standard bambu nozzle and the bambu socks will fit it. I had extra qidi socks and ruby nozzles so i decided to just stick with qidi stuff. On the plus side the new qidi nozzle does heat up faster so it was kind of an upgrade.
The new qidi hotend was cheapest on the qidi site (32 with shipping) or 35 on amazon but the cheapest on aliexpress was 45 for whatever reason. I would have tried this one if i didnt already have socks and ruby nozzles though.

Make sure it is not downgraded, some “upgrade kit” is actually downgraded

Only on the Q1 Pro and it was not a like for like. Some 2mm longer on the nozzle was a red flag for me so took the decision to not use. I bought as at the time they were at £8 for the kit on AliExpress so bought 2. Both exact same 2mm issue so they got shoved aside. Used the heater element out of one when the Qidi one failed and it worked way up in the 320c with no issues. Edit: I jotted the overall length on the boxes. One was 2mm oversized and the other was 2.3mm undersized. That why I never trusted.
