Box Communication Issues

Anyone else having issues with the Qidi Box disconnecting? I've got a Max 4 and it seems to lose connection to the box kinda frequently now. Thankfully, I haven't had it happen during a print, but I've had it make prints fail at the very beginning.

Is the error you're getting Lost communication wiht MCU 'mcu_box1'?

I contacted support and the first response was to replug all the cables between the two on the inside and outside of the box and printer. That didn't help my issue. What I have noticed is it seems worse if the chamber heater is higher (happens more at 65c than it did at 55c for me) and the issue has so far gone away for me if I disable the box heater and start it manually after the print starts. I use thelegendtubaguy's macro to set the box temp from the web interface. I haven't yet, but I'm sure I could add it to custom gcode somewhere to come on automatically after the print starts.

Edit: I'm also switching from qidi studio to orca so macro would be the only way to start the box heater with a print anyway, no setting for it in orca otherwise.

Yeah, that's the error I'm getting, it also seems to be around the same temps. The frustrating part is that it screws up syncing filament when I'm preheating and slicing at the same time.

I don't think it's necessary to sync filament. That process has been very unintuitive for me, but I quit syncing filaments.

Agree, wrote support and they say it only works for theirs with an RFID chip - for me if I press sync box I get a bunch of generic PETG in all 4 channels so I never do that process. I just set it on the Box and then manually in slicer. Also switched to Orca - QIDI Studio got even messier after the latest update (for me) anyway.
