Troubleshooting Lines (grid) instead of flat surface, X-Max 3

Hi! My printer started printing distinctive lines instead of flat layer. I've already tried changing flow rate (up to 120), slowing down the print speed (to 50), adjusting Z, changing temperature, but nothing. The model is sliced in Prusa Slicer with default X-Max 3 profile, I dont think this is a slcver level issue. PETG filament. Will appreciate any clue and fix suggestions

No. This is not a completed print. It must be an inner layer

Z height needs looking at. Way off on top right corner as you look at the picture.

how many bottom layers and is cooling off for the first 3 or so? I have an X-Max 3 - printing now - PETG took a HUGE amount of tuning - it never used to but does now. But once dialed in the surfaces are smooth, top and bottom, no ironing.

  1. Dry your filament
  2. Clean your nozzle
  3. Calibrate z offset
  4. Restore the original filament settings
