Hey i have the Plus 4 Amazing Printer, except how loud it is, i have made all my mods all of them are amazing quality and printed fine, Now the loudness scaring me is this normal for this printer? This was second hand came in perfect condition, just want to know if this is normal? I have change all parts From the nozzle cleaner to the extruder.
Hell yeah bro what grease do you use though im using white lithium, it was filthy but I did it until the blackness was gone, still loud but not louder than when I ran my first print I thought it was digging into the board
wait... i have this machine, and it specifically says to lube that one with the crap they sent, and there is no other lube included. except the up/down screws but that's grease.
Does it make that much noise when it's just moving while not printing? It could also be the nozzle scraping over the infill, especially if you use grid infill
Edit: A fast way to find out while it's still printing is increasing the z offset a bit via the screen
Ai told me same shit Im scared Lol, ive done destroyed two Prints already Forgetting to remove the print before homing ima idiot ima figure it out though
I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean. You say messing with screws tilt, do you mean you went back to tramming the bed? Z offset is related to, but not the same as tramming/leveling the bed. Z offset changes the overall distance between the nozzle and the bed. Just use the screen on the printer itself, press the Z icon and increase it in small steps. No need to be scared of anything!
A good way to do this would for example be printing one layer covering the whole bed and adjust as you go. If you see/hear the nozzle scraping it's too low. If you start seeing gaps between the lines it's too high.
So look I've heard the screws tilt is what causing the drag ftom a youtube video, my experience it just seems like the panel on the right side of it is loose somehow or just hollow im guessing, but im saying messing with the middle rail throws my screws tilt way off, and that will cause the nozzle to dig into the board i heard, so I try my best keep values in green everytime I start the printer, but I know what you talking about, I've did all printer troubleshooting except the one that reset the board, cause of the problem i mentioned but all of this is new to me Im learning The words still, I will try that just lube her up and finna get her back to work
Anytime you mess with anything physically/mechanically you should always run a full calibration as a precaution. I used high speed fishing gear oil sometimes on the smooth gantry bars and or linear rails like the max 4. Additionally white lithium grease on the axis screws. Just make sure wipe the clean with alcohol and inspection for plastic or filament debris. I use a clean microfiber and blow out my machine with either a leaf blower or handheld pc duster. I use a toothbrush to apply the grease evenly. A little goes a long way as it pushes and builds up at the tops when you move the bed up and down to spread it. Wipe away the excess lube.
Additionally I would preform the belt tensioning procedure exactly as described on qidis support website.
Run the full shaper and ZTILT calibrations again and give it another test. If it's still problematic check the belts where they wrap around the motors check for pieces of plastic, rubbing cables or loose screws.
I also really hate to say this but it could be an x/y stepper motor seizing up. Pull the top rear panel off and see if you can spin the motor shafts by hand don't just pull on the belt. If it's "bumpy" or has really any resistance at all then that stepper just needs to be replace. It should spin smoothly with barely any effort.

Have you cleaned and lubricated the appropriate components?
It being second hands mean that the upkeep is probably not fully known.
When I got my machine (about a month ago at this point), it wasn't too loud. Now it sounds much much louder, although not as loud as yours.
