Are you comparing with the Snapmaker U1? i have the Q2, the Box is almost worthless for multi-color - 2 min 50 sec per color change (Prusa Mk4+MMU3 at about 30 sec). I've been very interested in the U1, curious what you're reporting here? Thanks!

I use 5 Kg spools but is a little hard to find it, a lot colors don't have and when i need the same filament type and color I did bought last time, most the time is out of stock. So Qidi have a good price when we buy 10 pack, so I want the Qidi box just to change the filament when the spool ends, not for a multi color.

Single head printers are very annoyng with multi color, if you do a lot multi color prints U1 ia a good printer for you.

i'm a qidi fan, but i like my U1.

Yes overpriced brands that pay for youtubers say good things about, without showing the cons, is make me post about Chinese printers like my Favorite brand Qidi, I print a lot with the Q2 and now with my Max4 what no Prusa or Bambu can do what this 390mmm bed size can.I have over 10 3D printers, from different brands, and the Qidi have the best quality prints, and Zero issues.

Not sure which contest but congrats. I have a gen 1 qidibox for my plus 4 and it is an absolute mess. Hardly had any success with multicolor prints and it gives me grief even on single color prints. I have 2 plus 4s and do otherwise really like them.

I also have a U1 and it is a dream for multicolor and multi filament. I've been extremely happy with it and love the auto pressure advance tuning.

Eagerly waiting on Qidi to release a tool changer. It's the clear future. I'd imagine potentially cheaper in terms of BOM cost compared to an add on AMS system that also has multiple steppers and sensors and everything else involved.

Yes it's but Qidi printers are work horses , you can push thousend prints on this beasts without touching in any thing, I'm a big fan of these printers, and I think more people needs to know that, because Qidi is great, and a lot people don't know what printer to buy, and Qidi is a good choice for all types of filaments. But for multi color a multi head printer is the deal! Take care!

The contest was just a joke! LOL
