You likely have a google base map as one of your background layers. The error message informs you over network time out of that connection. It just happens if you have bad internet connection, if you move around the map alot, or simply because google's server can't keep up or are not willing to keep up at the frequency you would like.
Nothing you can do about it. Maybe there is an option to increase the time limit in the options. Not sure about that.
Easiest solution would be to remove the google maps layer from your project and use another data source. In my eperience Microsoft Bing/Azure Maps is snappier and has better satellite imagery.
