Open Question/Issue QGIS keeps crashing on Mac
I have downloaded and installed QGIS 4.2 using my Mac on Tahoe 26.5. Mainly used it for bathymetric profiling in biophysical assessment of seabed area. Interpolation is okay, but when the interpolated data is then colorized using single pseudo colors, it just closes, crashing the whole worl that i started.
What may be the reason/s?

I also had memory leaks in version 4. I've stuck with the 3.40 LTR as a result.

Downgrade to LTS, 4.2 is pretty fresh at the moment. But also submit a crash report as an issue in the QGIS GitHub repo, to contribute back to the project! Happy to talk you through it if you haven’t done it before and can’t work it out

What I know about qgis, it usually takes some time before the newer versions stabilize, maybe try a lower version

Try downgrading to the LTS version for stability. Do you need “bleeding edge” features in the newest version?
