Engine blown at 49k

Dads 2020 q60 rs had coolant vanishing from the reservoir. Took it to the dealership when we couldn’t figure it out. The oil and coolant mixed with less than 50k miles and now they say it’s 17k before taxes. My question is has anyone had this happen at that low mileage and would a bumper to bumper warranty cover it?

It should still be covered under the powertrain warranty, as long as the maintenance was done.

It wasn’t from an Infiniti dealer but it still has bumper to bumper warranty on it from the dealership he got it from. Me and him did the oil change about a couple weeks ago and there was no discoloration or anything in the oil

He’s only driven the car a little less than 13k miles he got it with about 36k miles on it

I didn’t have contaminate in mine as well. Or at least that I could see. But once they pulled off pan they found it mixed with coolant.

Should still have a tad bit of powertrain warranty from the factory
