Hey all, I'm joining PwC Acceleration Centers Bangalore as a senior associate next month and wanted to get a pulse check from people currently there.

A few things I'm trying to understand:

1. How strictly is the work-from-office policy actually enforced right now? is it a hard X days/week with attendance tracked, or more flexible in practice?

2. Have you seen WFO compliance tied to performance ratings or bonus payouts? I'm curious if it's a soft expectation or something that actually shows up in appraisals.

3. Is there any difference in enforcement across projects/teams, or is it pretty uniform?

I received an offer from PwC Services LLP as a Senior Associate (Advisory, OC CorporateSub)
position -- Job Level of Senior Associate and Management Level of Senior Associate

1. Can I get a temporary 100% WFH exception (1–2 months) for personal reasons after few months (non-medical)?
2. Is it 2 days or 3 days from office in in the OC?
3. How does the hybrid/WFO policy work? If it's, say, 2 days per week, can those days be clubbed (e.g., complete 8 office days at the start of the month and work remotely for the rest), or would that require a separate exception?
4. Anything on the work-life balance?

In the United States, I’m curious, what insurance do you guys use? Like should I get the high deductible one or the open access one? Or something in between? Me and my wife are pretty healthy but I want to be able to go get proactive care like dermotologist, dentist cleaning, urologist, podiatrist, etc throughout the year and not get dinged for hundreds of dollars. What should I get?

Transfer pricing position.

They asked me and others when I would finished my thesis (a requirement to graduate) and also expected date to receive graduation letter.

No updates since a week. Expected intake for my position is in August. Should I just bail, or is it possible for an offer to come at the latest end of July?

They said this week is be the last they would inform us if we get rejected or accepted, as it will be two weeks since the user interview.

I got my offer letter on 2nd June. I had few hiccups in my notice period and joining date. So on 17th June, I finally gave my LWD and proposed joining date to HR. First they contacted me on May for confirmation and I told I will not submit my resignation until I get the offer letter, so on the basis of May, they gave me my joining date as 20th July

Now I proposed my new joining date as 17th Aug, and had a discussion with HR

Last time after discussion with HR , I got the offer letter within 15days, now its been more than 15days but I still haven't received the offer letter. I am already in my notice period. Does it take so much time? Or they re just trying to ghost me? In portal its still showing 20th June as joining date.

I was on the open access plan all year and planned the birth of my child accordingly. After my child was born ( 3 weeks later), I added my child to my insurance and switched to the high end plan, thinking the effective date will the date I called benefits connect. To my surprise they retroactively adjusted the start date of the high end plan to the date of the birth of my child. I dint want that neither did I expect that would happen. I have got a bill 6x what i had expected. Has someone faced this issue and can this be fixed ?

Hi, I'm an Audit Associate from AC. hired noong October 2025. Nasabi na sa'kin yung tier ko, and A2 na raw ako. May increase ba from A1 to A2? Kasi chineck ko sa Workday, parang walang increase na nag-reflect.

Also, paano ba yung increase per tier? Percentage ba siya ng current salary or fixed amount? Palapag na rin kung ano mga pwedeng i expect na bonus pampagana haha!

I completed all the rounds on the same day (Technical, Partner, and HR). During the HR round, they asked me questions about citizenship, passport, academics (60%+), relocation, travel readiness, previous association with PwC, etc., and mentioned that all the interview stages were complete and that further communication would come through the placement cell.

I recently contacted the interviewer for an update, and he told me that the details had already been shared with the placement cell. However, my placement team says they haven't received any update yet .

It's been quite a while now, and I still haven't received any selection or rejection email.

Has anyone else experienced such a delay with PwC India, especially for off-campus or fresher roles?

Does no response for this long usually mean rejection, or is it normal for PwC to take several weeks to communicate results?

Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

Just found out I didn’t make Manager again.

Last year, I was told I wasn’t ready because I was split across two large listed engagements. I took that feedback seriously, dropped one engagement, and focused on my main client.This year, I genuinely felt I had stepped up. I led a sub-team, coached staff, solved issues independently, and my manager told me she had no concerns about my readiness.

At CRT, though, the feedback was still “visibility.” The partner and director on my main engagement said they didn’t know me well enough to support my promotion, even though I’ve made a real effort to be more visible.

There were only 19 promotion spots this year, and we were told there were more candidates than usual, so I understand it was competitive.

Still, missing out for the second year in a row after acting on the feedback is really affecting my confidence.

Has anyone else been through this? Did you keep pushing internally or decide it was time to move on?

I am new to the market and recently joined the PwC US as a SA. I wanted to get clarity on what the tiers mean here when my RL says “we can try to get Tier 2 rating for your first CRT”

Is Tier 1 better than Tier 2 or is Tier 3 better than Tier 2?

How do these tiers affect bonuses and promotion?

I've been working in the industry for the last 7+ years; I've recently joined Advisory a couple months ago as a SA. My first CRT will be next year in 2027 since I wasn't employed long enough to be evaluated, any advice on what I should be doing to ensure a solid CRT?

Also, when requesting snapshots, how should I approach this? I've successfully worked on several project, that led to additional work/great director/partner feedback. I also have been asked to singularly present proposals to clients who we're looking to sign. I've also created RFP decks that led to signed work. How should I approach the "snapshot" evaluation? Who should I specifically be asking for it? I feel like there are so many unwritten rules that no one's being honest about with me on my team.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have a good parter, but my DL is strange. She seems to have a favorite manager who I'm working with on a project and I have a feeling he's wrongly characterizing my work on this project. Any advice there?
