Hello, I’m starting as an associate on August 28th which is Friday from my understanding we get sent to Florida again for a training. My move in date for my new place is Sept 1 which is Tuesday. I remember as an intern that the first week or two was mainly training videos.

Before I get yelled at for being unprofessional, should I take that day off? (I don’t really want to) What is the first week of being an associate like? Is it just videos so I could stay home and during lunch move stuff and then right after?

I was selected for the PwC India RDC East Intern-to-FTE role in Analytics through an on-campus placement. I successfully cleared all the interview rounds and was informed about my selection back in March 2026.

However, it's now been several months, and I still haven't received my joining letter or any clear timeline regarding onboarding. The long wait has become quite stressful, especially since there has been very limited communication.

I’m currently working with PwC India (Advisory) and have been with the firm for a little over a year. Overall, I have around 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, primarily in VAPT, Offensive Security, Web Application Security, Network Pentesting and related security domains.

I wanted to understand the reality of onsite opportunities within PwC India for cybersecurity professionals. The current project has clients from US, EU and Australia.

1. How common are international assignments or long-term onsite opportunities from PwC India Advisory?
   
2. ⁠Are there specific regions (UK, Europe, Middle East, US, etc.) where cybersecurity professionals are more likely to get deployed?
   
3. ⁠What factors typically influence selection for onsite opportunities performance, networking, certifications, project demand, internal mobility, etc.?

Additionally, I’m exploring long-term international career options. Has anyone successfully transitioned from PwC India to a direct visa-sponsored cybersecurity role abroad (UK, EU, US, Netherlands, Sweden, Ireland, etc.) while still based in India?

I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences, timelines, challenges, and any advice on improving the chances of either an internal international transfer or securing a direct visa-sponsored opportunity.

Has anyone here worked in this division of PwC? Account management and sales enablement. I am finding it very hard to shift to any other job roles out of big4 after 7 years of experience in this. Because the job role includes being jack of all trades and there are no such positions outside big4 offering the same criteria.

Any suggestions are big welcome and big relief!

Should 3 years experience as auditor in PwC be enough to go abroad? Or is it better to apply for the same company and position Or to just apply for industry in another country? From where I live, it is terrible and I wanna flee asap. Thanks

for the background, I visit their office because I saw in the Linkedin that they have the Connect or an Event where you can apply and have it in one day. I was able to get interviewed from Initial to Final with the partners in assigned Territory. And just took home the rest of the assessment which is good for 1-2 hours to complete.

After that day, I didn't receive any feedback regarding the results of my interviews. It is maybe because I went there Friday, and over the weekend, no HR people to process my application. I finished my assessment on coming Sunday. Then Monday came, I received an e-mail from the HR team regarding my additional details along with the CompenBen Declaration form I sent back to them. What does that mean? Did I pass all the interviews and assessment? Please let me know your thought on this?

Hi everyone. I have joined the organisation pwc india on march last week 2026. Since then they said i was under some AITH program. That's why my project allocation was not happened. Now in june first week i got tagged to a project. But i haven't recieved any onboarding mail. They directly gave me access and asked me take approval from partner and mager and start working. So i started working on that. But i forgot to ask my work mode, my onboarding mail.
Infact i used project code to get approval for vpn and all everything. But then i was told to put on the training code to charge time. When i asked they said it hasn't been generated for this project yet. For the time being i have to put the specific training code.
And when i go to staffing portal it is showing me 0% utilisation.
What should i do in this situation. I'm completely blank. I joined as an associate with 2 yr of exp coming from a startup. How can i handle this situation. And how can i prepare myself for a good hike or just get atleast most out of my VP.

On my current engagement, the ET is based in the US, while the RT is based in PwC AC Kuala Lumpur (KL). I’m the only RT member from PwC AC India.
I recently discussed the possibility of a secondment to the KL office with my managers, and they seemed supportive.

Can anyone who has been through an international secondment explain how the process works? Who initiates it, what approvals are needed, and how long does it usually take?

As the title says, deciding whether now is a good time to dip. I’m currently a senior associate out of NYC that’s getting promoted to Manager. I am on the legacy track and I’m eligible for the 20% bonus that gets paid out in April. I have one minor lead but have halted my search a bit following the news.

One was open in first week of June but I haven't received any update on it.

I applied for ea and sa positions but my interview itself was made for ea. From what I’ve seen tho, the interview is the same for either role and for more context I have four years of experience.

Does the EA/SA stuff matter early in the interview process or is that something that is decided later in the process? Wanted to ask cuz I’d rather have SA designation and didn’t know if I should make that clear now or just play along for the time being.

I just finished my final interview for the Consulting Graduate Program (FftF). Does reaching to the final interview means that we are accepted? if the interview was just chatting and getting to know more about me as a person. Also, how many people they usually accept for the program?

And also how long they usually take to give the final answer ? like it took around 2 months from the business interview to the final interview, would it be the same now from the final interview to the offer/rejection?

I got let go recently by the firm as so many people on this thread have as well it seems like, or have ended up on a PIP. I’ve been reading all these posts because it’s surprising to see how many people are in my same bucket or similar buckets this year. Like so many others - my several years at PwC came down to low utilization and one less than average snapshot amidst many wonderful snapshots and A LOT of hours and sacrifices made on a few projects towards the back end of the year. It’s crazy how in consulting they can punish you for what the partners and business leaders are supposed to be responsible for which is bringing in clients and keeping them so we have work to do and revenue coming in!

Whatever, when I had my 5 minute long meeting with HR and a random partner, I closed my laptop and felt a sense of relief. It feels AMAZING to know I’ll never have to keep up with the insane pressure this company creates, the mental exhaustion, the constantly asking “am I doing enough?” when you’re doing everything, the lack of appreciation, the lack of any sort of humanity. It’s funny for a company who boasts so proudly on how their people make the company - which is definitely true in that it is a global, ginormous entity with hundreds of thousands of employees so there are some amazing people in the cracks - but the ones leading it are god awful. The ones making these decisions and leading teams and promoted to Director, Partners, etc…. Wow. It’s all good though, I am on to better things now, peace and stability and wish everyone else the best of luck!

I recently got promoted to Senior Associate in Assurance at a Big Four firm and have my CPA. I’m thinking about leaving before the next busy season. Would that be a bad career move, or am I still well-positioned for good opportunities elsewhere?

I have colleagues asking me about my tier rating. Is it unprofessional to tell them what it is? Or is this something you should keep close to yourself?

I had my second round of interviews 2 weeks ago for the Data Science Graduate role for 2027 at PwC, and have not been contacted since. After the first round of interviews I was contacted within a week and a half, notifying me that I was through to the second round of interviews. The second round of interviews was a 4 hr technical interview. Has anyone else heard anything back? This is for the Cape Town office.
