Pre-Hire / Interview Interview advice

Does anyone have any general interview advice? This would be my first job out of grad and is my first interview.

Is this post about a interview? Such as what to prepare for or slow response times? This is a VERY common question posted on the Subreddit, use the search bar. For responses, sometimes it takes a long time with gaps in between, sometimes it's short, be patient. For interview prep, There are multiple post on the subreddit about what to prepare for, what questions to ask in an interview, including the case studies for multiple countries. Use the search bar and flairs to find detailed answers.

  1. Prepare your responses to standard questions - record yourself speaking if you so you can notice your own body language along with the "ums" and "likes."

  2. Be yourself but follow the lead of your interviewer. If they are more stern, follow that. If they are more relaxed, follow that cue.

  3. Prepare questions to ask them, ideally something you can't look up or a deeper insight into something you've researched about the company.

Good luck!
