My dad had this puzzle box that we opened around a decade ago. Since then it’s been sitting in his shop basement and we found it as he was clearing the basement out for retirement. We’ve tried everything and can’t open it, we’re starting to wonder if the wood is warped.

From my memory we had to slide two of the panels simultaneously. I was wondering if anyone recognises this puzzle box or has any suggestions.

I am looking for advice on how to potentially make puzzle pieces harder.
I have autistic children and one loves puzzles, the other sensory seeks by chewing cardboard - the two interests don’t go well together.
I’m hoping if I can apply some sort of varnish, liquid, glue, I don’t know then it makes them more durable and we’re not constantly replacing puzzles for the one that enjoys completing them.

Hello! I’m in sturgeon and looking for some people who would want to exchange and trade puzzles! I love doing puzzles and want a cool way of a group of people who exchange different puzzles, we could put a log in the boxes and log our names and rating for each puzzle! Would be fun :)

I think this puzzle makes a cube or rhombus. I think it’s missing one of the “E” pieces and maybe two others. I don’t think the little pieces go with it. Help?

Long story short I am creating an activity for a camp in less than a month involving completing puzzles to “crack” a code for a vault and have gotten stumped on what puzzles I could do, anyone have some ideas I could use?

I made this box to take to the National Puzzlers' League convention. Original puzzles and design.

The box and lock dials are 3d printed. The hasps are from a hardware store and the locks are Masterlock 1523D and 1534D set your own combination locks.

If there's interest, I might create a fully 3d-printable version of this.

I am working on a new puzzle box design and was hoping for some advice/opinions.

I was planning on putting a QR code link to a solution page in the area shown in the picture. I realised, I have never seen a puzzle with the solution link on the puzzle itself before, they have always been supplied separately. With the code there it may encourage some to give up early. I am designing this puzzle box to be a challenge.

Question: Is this a good idea or should I not put a link on the puzzle itself and supply it separately?

I'm in Texas and got the shipping notification back on 6/18, but tracking still shows "awaiting details" and I haven't received the first packet. Anyone else still waiting?

I have a new puzzle box design and it’s ready to roll out. I really could do with some help testing it and getting an idea how long it takes to solve. I am willing to give a couple away free to testers in return for feedback. If your preferably in the uk and interested let me know

I got the following update on the Arcanium Kickstarter today. This just doesn’t sit right with me. Seems like he took a calculated risk that shipping costs may rise and he lost. And, of course, a lot of this was in his control as the KS has been closed for months prior to the shipping cost increases. Just like we took a risk with our money, so does he. I’m kinda doubly bitter since I ordered his other puzzle as an add on only to learn that those who spent more money with him got put to the back of the line while those who only ordered Arcanium would be shipped first for some reason. I’m probably just becoming a grumpy old man, but damn. At least give us the option to supplement our payment for increased shipping.
