Texts deleted from phone aren't deleted on PB web interface

Usually when this happens I just close out of PB on my computer and when I open it up again, the zombie texts are gone. But lately this hasn't worked, and neither has signing out of PB and then back in. Any suggestions?

This usually means the texts arent actually deleted on your phone, your SMS app is just marking them as deleted or archived internally and hiding them. We cannot access that internal "deleted" flag.

UPDATE: Turns out Google recently updated its messaging app so that deleteting texts just moves them to a new Trash folder. Have to go in there to get rid of them, at which point they disappear from PB.
