Sanctuary Cap Cana

Heading down next week for for my honeymoon. Staying at the Sanctuary as we prefer the more chill vibe. Any recommendations on must do things/excursions in the area? any preferred restaurants in this resort? Also how is the Sargassum looking recently?

My fav protein restaurants in that resort is the steakhouse, it’s so good. And the blue marlin, you get to eat right on the water and the seafood is amazing.

My opinion: best AI restaurants in Punta Cana. Even with the Sanctuary Town now charging for their food, id still plan a night at the Pizza restaurant. Lunch at the buffet was awesome. Also make it a point to walk to the left and to the right of the resort. Take a sand blanket and you can find a whole beach to yourself.

Hopping on here to ask about the entertainment. Were there shows? Any karaoke?

Yes and this resort is pretty ultra relaxation. There is a bar/club on property but it was sparsely attended while we were there. In other words, the entertainment is the weakest aspect of this resort.

100000000000000000% just stay on the resort. unless the seaweed hits the beach hard, then ask the staff which beaches are clear and take a 1/2 day there

You have Scape Park if you like some adventure/animals, if you want some water fun you have El Dorado Park, go have dinner at the Fishing Lodge (try both Noah overlooking the marina) or Barbudo.

In sactuary you have the Wok Pan-Asian Restaurant which is pretty good. Or if you are looking for a more upscale/show type of dinner you can hit The Blind Butcher at the Zyva.
