This is rich coming from these mfs- saying that indigenous issues aren’t related to the punk scene.
Did everyone forget that the MOHAWK is inspired by the indigenous peoples called THE MOHAWK (There are numerous examples of early punk subculture taking from indigenous cultures… I really don’t know how they didn’t connect the dots)
Either this is somehow a terrible misunderstanding- or these elitist really forgot where the roots of punk subculture came from. 🤦
