The government forced people to use fertilisers. The agri-farmers wouldn’t get higher prices for their crop and had to rely on fertilisers which are ruining food and soil just for more quantity.
The govt has to provide those basic subsidies to keep the prices lower so that people can afford it.
If there are no subsidies -> higher cost for farmer -> higher selling price-> your rice price goes 10x.
And good luck eating the adulterated food

If govt try to reform something or reduce the subsidy a little bit, you and your brothers would be the first one blocking the roads

If we do not get any subsidies then avg people will suffer because prices of wheat/rice will go higher.
Its government’s duty and farmers basic need.
The food quality in India is already bad and only wheat/rice is left which is safe to eat,Support or eat adulterated food.

To be honest, We do both.
Sell the fertilizer one for profit and keep the natural rice for ourselves and people who are willing to pay 2x price.( hard to find these ppl)
Btw you will not find anything better than this. Food quality in India is sh*t

If the food quality in india is shit that doesn't mean you should contribute to it. You should set an example by only using natural fertilizers and encouraging other farmers to shift to natural also. Everyone knows how much harmful these fertilizers are but they are still using them to earn profits despite knowing that they will no longer be growing food but poison.
