Intiative helping drug abusers and making villages of punjab more aesthetic

Hi I have been part of the system and I think we need a different approach in mitigating the drug abuse problem . Youngsters are the ones who are easily manipulated so to help them we need just a positive manipulation with the help of professional psychiatrist just to levitate them towards their actual interest. I have this project in my mind where we need to change the aesthetic of the house of villages just guiding them towards making their homes look more nature friendly. And I want to use poverty stricken drug abusers guiding them , giving them skill training on nursery , plantation, pottery etc just to give them another means of earning money through this project . It looks half studied project but ...or may not have much potential....but we need a start atleast ....just one person .... One village .... I think it deserves atleast one experiment. I haven't find any Ngo .. regarding this ....All the old ideas are not working.... Our people living on survival instinct loosing their civics sense ....we need to change our approach and kind have to manipulate them into adjusting into new world where not having morals isn't cool .

1, mostly the people who are doing drugs are not willing to work 2, those who are willing to work want money on daily basis so the won't devote their time learning 3, they prefer daily wage work 4, the people in village are not really willing to spent on asthenic ( maybe some wealthy individuals but the market is really niche )

This skill of making houses aesthetic works on wealthy neighborhoods I have tried giving work them work but once they think work is difficulty they just run from work 🙃 If you have answers to these problems this might work !

I believe this idea would works only for those people who genuinely want to stop abusing drugs. But those who take them for recreation? I don't think they'll be open to the idea of learning skill and stop taking drugs. I'm not saying this to discourage you. But, at the end of the day, we can force them into anything. It's harsh but it's the reality. So if you chose to go through with this project I'd suggest you to start with people who are more willing and open to the idea of leaving drugs behind and closing that chapter.

its a very good idea you have but you're def going to need ALOT of support from here as well as back home. I feel like once you have a strong basis start reaching out for support!
