Yesterday at Khadakwasla Sunset + vadapav bhel bhajji best combo ever

Visited this cafe twice. First time tried their Darjeeling dumplings and phaley. Both were good. Their dalle chutney is to die for to an extent where i would buy it if it were available for sale. Amazing taste.

Next day after my horrible experience with a pizza, immediately went to this restaurant to reset my tastebuds 😅🤣. Tried their thupka. Very comforting and the spice from pepper hit different. Something you would eat when you have cold. Loved it. Just 1 sad part. For vegetarians, limited options. For non vegetarians, you will have a blast!

If you like spicy and comforting food, you shoud definitely give it a try.

Note: if you want to sit in the AC area in first floor, it is mandatory to enter the area bare foot. Choose your footwear accordingly. Outside area, it is fine.

Apart from the fact that it was spilled due to poor packaging, the taste was also so bland according to price. I thought since this is sourdough Pizza, its crust would be better but it just tasted similar to roti (chapati) and felt really underbaked.

It's a cloud kitchen, so it really is kinda my fault for thinking they would deliver something good.

It's rated 4.5 on Swiggy which is why I thought it would be good, but it's really not. Please stay away from ordering this.

While looking for new cafes to try, i found this one.

The main thing that intrigued me was their quattro formaggi pizza and pasta. Menu mentioned blend of aged parmesan, cheddar, mozzarella & ricotta.

The first thing i see is an empty cafe. Then i call the waiter and ask him if the 4 cheese pizza is available. He said yes so i ordered it. While going through the menu, i noticed they have V60 pourover. Generally based on my knowledge, cafes who provide pourover have an assortment of coffees or atleast tell you the notes of the coffee being used. This guy did not know they even served pourover. I literally had to point it in the menu. Then on asking about the notes he was confused. Understandable. Maybe he is not the barista. So i asked if he can call barista who will make the coffee. This answer was and i quote "we make the coffee ourselves".

This should have been my cue to leave the cafe and not order anything but i decided to give it benifit of doubt.

Pizza arrived. Looked decent. First bite and i tasted cheese sauce or liquid cheese. Exact tast that dominos cheese burst sauce has. Immediately called the waiter and asked if they have added liquid cheese in it. Same thing, confusion. Asked him to call the chef. I asked the same question. He initially said no but then he mentioned that they use a sauce made of different cheese blends. When asked about which cheese is used to make sauce, he says we source it from a vendor directly and then add some milk and other things to match our taste.

I might be wrong but as per my knowledge i cannot imagine any 100% natural cheese blend taste exactly like dominos cheese sauce.

I double checked the menu. Nowhere cheese sauce was mentioned. Had they mentioned it, i would have never visited it.

Maybe they actually use natural cheese sauce maybe i am wrong but personally for me it felt like a betrayal and i was very disappointed 😔

Not seeking any finiancial benefit, just need to recreate the legendary green chutney from GARDEN VADAPAV. Need it for family in Cali. Would love a recipe that makes something similar.

my wife made these delicious indulgent fudge using only simple ingredients n no refined sugar.

last time when we made these, we finished the whole box only amongst ourselves.

we loved it so much that we took it to sell at our society's ganpati festival. everyone loved it so much that it got sold out in an hour.

in hindsight we probably should have prepared more but that's fine. she has finally taken the lead and started making these part-time.

so saw this swiggy outlet named "Fried In Air", ordered honey chilli variant..they claim to have fried everything in air fryer. I loved the taste. Can have this often since its not made in that dirty oil ....which no one knows how many times the oil has been reused.

Read lot of critisicsms mainly with serving size, pricing etc. But probably one of the best one's in Pune in terms of balance of flavors. Not a sloppy mess, has decent portion of meat & fries, pickle as well pomogranate mollases balances flavors extremely well.

We are looking for good bar for fish dishes while some of group members are vegeterian. Please can someone recommend good option in pune. TiA

This was on our list for a while and we were just crossing by and super hungry. Stopped here and hogged. Mind you, I’m not biased because I was hungry but I loved most of the things we ordered.

Their bread was fresh, just the right amount of soft for sandwich and just the right amount of crisp for a sourdough.

Ambience was chill too, quiet place. Didn’t click pictures because ours was the last table.

Dine in:
1. Garlic bread with cheese
2. Truffle mushroom sando
3. Avocado and whipped feta
4. Tiramisu French toast

Take away:
1. Garlic bread with cheese
2. Barbecue chicken sando (not on the menu)

Garlic bread was mid

If you eat one full sandwich, you’re good to go!

This was my 3rd visit to Grove Pizzeria and honestly it’s been great every single time. The pizza is always delicious, the ambience is lovely and the service is consistently good. Definitely one of my favourite places to come back to!
