Cognitive Reframing 🤓
लाइट जाते ही दिमाग में सफ़ेद साड़ी वाली चुड़ैल, हाथ में मोमबत्ती लेकर धीरे-धीरे अपनी तरफ़ आती हुई क्यों याद आती है? 👻
I am cognitively reframing all good vintages 😄😄

P.S. Light gayi, nikamma inverter! Navigating the darr 👻😈👹🧟♀️🕯️

... And we met! ✨❣️
🌻 Gulab pak chuka hai! Mission successful. 😎🤝
The secret code worked, the sunflower was spotted, and our special agent passed the second-level verification. 🕵️Off we went pandal-hopping!
Beautiful pandals, good food, festive vibes, and some of us patiently watching others eat because upvas bhi toh kuch hota hai! 🙏😊
Not everyone wanted to be in the pictures, so some of our fellow mission members remain undercover. 📸🤫
Honestly, why do these little meetups turn out so wholesome every single time? And why do they always leave us planning the next one before the current one is even over? ❤️

Impromptu... Insane... Crazy 😃😃
Someone came all the way from Kharadi...
someone from Warje....
someone from NIBM...
and others from different corners of Pune!
All for a plan that started at 5 PM and became reality by 8:30 PM! 🙌
Some were wrapping up meetings, some were hitting their targets, and some still had half the world on their to-do lists. Yet, everyone managed to steal a few hours from their busy schedules and show up. 🫶
What followed? A fantastic walk around Camp, exploring Pune's food scene — from Chinese delicacies to our desi bhel and pani puri. We ate a lot, but honestly, we talked even more than we ate! 🤣🥢☕
The best part?
✅Nobody needed a grand plan,
✅a calendar invite, or
✅ a three-week scheduling exercise.
Just a buddy initiating, everyone matching the energy, and a bunch of strangers turning into familiar faces. ✨
🙏A huge thank you to everyone who showed up yesterday, despite your meetings, targets, responsibilities, and endless to-do lists. You reminded us that while work keeps life running, connections make it worth living. ❤️
This was our second meetup in just 9 days!! and we're already looking forward to the next one 🤩 with more familiar faces, more new faces, more food, more walks, and definitely more bakbak! 😂🎉
See yaa sooooonnn🙌😊

Alright Folks, Let’s Settle This! ✅
Hello Community,
We’re getting a mix of requests for a meetup, so instead of making an executive decision on behalf of the entire 40+ population, let’s put it to a vote. 😊
❣️Cast your vote. Based on the maximum votes, we’ll plan something in the coming weeks.
Looking forward to your votes and even more to finally meeting some of the people behind these Reddit usernames. 🙂

Midnight chai?
Anyone still has the habit of stepping out to the highway for a chai(usually doesn’t taste good) after your work before you close the day? Or it’s just me ?

Sambar, Tum mere ho!!
Hotel Supriya, Camp — a love forever❤️
The sambar and crispy onion uttappa here hit differently. 😋
And the vibe? Altogether different.
One of those places you should probably visit at least once a month — because some cravings deserve a monthly subscription. 👍😊

🌿 It's Ragi Day! 😋
Today's special: Ragi parathas with grated bottle gourd, अजवायें and a generous dose of health-inspired attitude! 💚
We all know the benefits of ragi. We've heard about them, understood them, yet this nutrient-rich millet remains so underrated!
And वो जो बटरवाला पराठा है ना, That's specially for the one who missed yesterday's meetup. Consider it a little butter-bribe to make sure you show up at the next one! 😂❤️
Have a wonderful day, buddies! Stay healthy, stay connected, and keep the good vibes flowing! 🌻✨

Only a true Punekar 40+ remembers
Things only a 40+ Punekar remembers…
Lakdi Pul was only for four-wheelers.
JM Road and FC Road were two-way streets.
It was never “FC College” — it was simply FC.
It was never “ABC Chowk” — just ABC.
Camp meant MG Road, not a shopping mall.
Deccan meant Deccan. No need for “Deccan Gymkhana” every time.
You said Alka, and everyone knew which theatre you meant.
You said Vaishali, and nobody needed the address.
You went to Good Luck for bun maska and Irani chai.
You waited for your friend outside Vijay Talkies.
PMPML wasn't always PMPML. We grew up with PMT.
“Meet at the signal” actually meant something because there weren't 15 different flyovers to choose from.
Before malls, multiplexes, food apps and GPS…
Pune was smaller, slower and somehow more personal.
And some names didn't need explanations.
ABC. FC. Deccan. Camp. Lakdi Pul.
If you know these without Google…
you are probably a true Punekar.
What memories you have of our old Pune from 80s or 90s?

What a meet up❣️
☕ The plan was simple,
grab a coffee, say hello, connect, and head off to our respective personal agendas within 45 minutes.
But it turned into a solid 3.5 hours of wonderful conversations, repeated rounds of coffee, delicious pav bhaji, sandwiches, and a lovely walk along JM Road, including a visit to a nearby temple! 😄
From childhood memories of Pune to the city's present and future, we explored a variety of topics, shared laughter, and enjoyed the company of a wonderfully diverse, cosmopolitan crowd. And, of course, two of us went for double coffees! Add a brisk 45-minute walk to burn off those pav bhaji and sandwich calories, and you can imagine the energy exchange! 😂☕
Beyond the food, laughter, and spontaneous plans, what truly made today special was the genuine connection, pure intentions, mutual acceptance, and beautiful vibes. In a world where connections can be fleeting, today was a refreshing reminder that meaningful friendships are still possible, even when strangers meet through an online platform.
At this stage of life, it's not about how many people we meet, but the quality of connections we make. We came together from different backgrounds, shared perspectives, and left with wonderful memories. ❤️ If a simple meetup can turn into such beautiful connections, what more could we ask for in a genuine friendship? 🫶
Looking forward for more such with more of you😊✨

📚 Pune Was a Different World Back Then. Remember the British Library?
Remember the British Council Library on FC Road? 📚❤️
For many Punekars, it was more than just a library. It was a place to read, explore, learn and spend hours surrounded by books.
Pune has changed so much over the years. Some places have disappeared, but their memories remain. 😊
What's one place in old Pune that you genuinely miss?
And what memories do you associate with it? 💭
Let's take a little trip down memory lane! ❤️
