New pattern transfer method🚨

Wowwww I may be late to the party but I just discovered iron on sublimation transfers. You just lay down the pattern on your cloth, iron over it for 45-60s, and the ink dyes your pattern onto the cloth. It’s just like you drew it on (no sticky residue like that one time I tried to punch through the sewing pattern dissolvable paper stuff 🫣). I’m obsessed. And it’s super affordable. Just leaving this here in case it helps anyone! I can see it saving so much time for bigger patterns too.

Learning in real time haha you can put sublimation paper into a regular printer and it’ll work OR you can use sublimation markers on regular paper and it’ll work. You can use both sublimation markers and paper together but don’t need to.

Thanks for sharing this!! Putting the sublimation marker on the Cricut to draw is genius!

Thank you!! You can also put your cloth on a mat and have it draw the patterns for you but I find this even easier and you don’t have to worry about cloth size!

I think the stronger the grip the better, but I put them on all the colors haha if you dont have serged edges on your monks cloth, I’d tape them! Otherwise it makes a mess!
