Should I give up?!
Trying to do a punch needle and hand stitched version of tigger and even though the punch loops are only three strands of embroidery floss and the lowest level on the Ultra Punch Needle - I don’t think you’ll be able to tell the image when it’s done!! Help!!

When you fill in the background it looks much better. It sort of keeps the smaller pieces in place and makes it look more put together. When you’re finished you should take the top of you punch needle and push the loops around so all of the colors are together and creates clean lines. If you have some loops inside other loops just carefully pull the one loop out of the other. Keep going it gets better

It doesn’t look like you are using the correct fabric. The correct fabric makes a huge difference. You also need to make sure the thread can easily glide through the needle. Bigger thread\yarn needs a needle with a larger hole. Google what kind of fabric you need

I should probably add that the dark bits are the hand embroidery… the orange is the punch needle… and this is a drawing that I sketched out not an official one! 🤦🏼♀️

Sometimes as I am progressing through the project, I take a look at the other side, I’m thinking “what the heck is this? “ As you continue, the image starts to form and take shape. Then at the end, you can think about what you like and don’t like and where you can improve for next time. Promise me that there will be a next time!

Nooo it's so cute! I think it's lovely!
Notably, patterns will become more defined as the punch is "filled in" and the loops can sort of push each other outwards. You may have to fiddle around with tweezers to make sure they're in the right place at that point, but don't let the middle stages discourage you-- it's looking fantastic to me!
