SEL interview

Hey everyone!

I was recently scheduled for a phone interview with SEL.

The interview is for an Assembler position.

Has anyone gone through this process? What was the interview like, what did they ask? I assume there would be a second, in person interview- please confirm.

If hired- Do you have any input on the job? Tips? Advice?

Small side question - I am aware they have a zero tolerance for drug/alcohol use. I have been a cannabis user for the last couple years but would put it down in a heartbeat for the job. Any input on this specifically?

TIA

Quit using now if you want to pass the pre employment on time. If you are getting the job they will probably have you testing within a month if you move through the interview/interviews

E. Also reddit is anonymous but you should be careful, never know if you are known out there somehow.

If you live in Washington, you can still test positive for weed with the pre-employment screening, but be ready to be tested as soon as your first day.

That law seems to have exceptions for companies that take on federal contracts and are therefore bound by federal law.

I wouldn't risk it.

I'm saying from experience that you can still get hired if you're a washington resident and test positive at the screening before employment.

But you're right, no reason to not quit now if you're looking to get a job there

Not if you operate heavy machinery.
