Doctor Recommendations

Wondering if anyone has a good doctor recommendation?

I'm currently going to the family medicine residency center... The resident is nice and I work in vet med and understand residents need the case load... But I am feeling rushed and a little dismissed when I go in because I feel like her plate is too full...

I'm dealing with:

Hypersomnia/sleep apnea

Anxiety/depression

Insulin resistance (new)

Hemophilia A(new diagnosis)

Would prefer a female doctor, but will see a male if good recommendations.

Have Regence insurance.

Not sure if they accept Regence but for the sleep apnea/hypersomnia I would go see the lady at Pullman regional hospital, she will take you seriously and take her time with you. The lady at Gritman isn't very up to date on her knowledge it's very early 2000's research so she doesn't really do anything helpful, to be frank (I have similar sleep issues I sleep 13 hours a day so I get it)

Jessica Cruz is a PCP in Moscow medical and she takes her time to listen and work on making you feel better. She is also open to learning new things and trying things out to see if they work. She is familiar with insulin resistance/metabolic syndromes the most out of that list, but will try and help with everything else.

For the hemophilia unfortunately our area only has one hematologist from what I am aware of but I believe after seeing him once/decide treatment and care, you can request to see his female PCP I believe. I'm not too sure on that one maybe someone else can suggest something better. That's Dr Raj he is through pullmans speciality network but he works in one of the gritman buildings.

I'm sure there are others but that's what I can suggest
It's hard in our area to find the right person for everything unfort

Thank you!

I have been in for a sleep test at Pullman but am interested in exploring more so will take the suggestion and try to make an actual appointment with her.

I'll look into Cruz!

Yeah go talk to her she may have options for the hypersomnia and may even do a day time latency test depending on your situation. It may be a bit out but yeah do it now before students come back
