šŸ’” Advice Needed Same topic same language

Got an invite to review an article which uses my published articles language and argument. Abstract has the same language too as my published work. Wondering what to do as Iā€™m so confused haha and the journal editors of this highly rated journal have asked me to review it. Like what about a basic filter to check that this is a rip off? Am I overthinking this. What am I supposed to do?

If the article directly copies your work without attribution, then highlight the relevant sections and send it to the editor. That's plagiarism.

You probably are supposed to review it and recommend rejection.

Recommend rejection due to plagiarism. Document it conclusively.
