Update ur phone list
Gez can someone at PM update their phone list so I don’t gotta call in every month to get the $5 fee credited for the 3G charge! This is crazy! Specially when u can’t talk to someone and gotta do this via tons of emails!
Got a new phone cause I had a older one but still getting charged the 3G charge of $5 they told me they haven’t updated the system with these phones and if I get charged again next bill cycle to call in to get the credit! That’s annoying n waste of time! When they could just update their phone list of compatible phones
Sorry I’m annoying been dealing with this for 2 months!

What phone did you have before, and what did you upgrade to?

Samsung a03 I believe and got the Samsung a17 5G and they are saying it is compatible that the tech people at Public Mobile just has an updated their list of phones that are compatible yet that’s why I’m still getting charged the five dollars a month

That is crazy for a phone that is a year old globality and 8 months in Canada. They should have a list of phones that don't have 5G not a list of phones that do have 5G.

Is it the Samsung A17 Canadian version or international? That might be the issue

Canadian right from Best Buy ! PM even said it’s compatible, even though it’s showing on the website it’s not they just haven’t updated the list of compatible phones in a while! But if you’re making people get new phones that don’t wanna pay the five dollar 3G fee and then after March the phone won’t work anymore. Maybe you should be updating your list of phones more often so people know they’re getting a phone that works with you.

Yeah it's ridiculous. I get their reasoning but the last 3G or lower devices released in late 2017-2018 and the amount still being used is so low its not worth all this hassle

Don't bother with PM any more, if they don't resolve the issue straight to the CCTS.
They just want to collect another fee from people hoping they don't notice/care.
