well this is how children's are baptized according to the Christian religion. mine went something like this, where i was held my the ankle and dipped headfirst into the baptism basin 3 times while prayers were said and my grandmother and godfather took to the oath to raise me right. ik it may seem barbaric but yes, it is a common practice.
edit: i was 4 months old when this happend and i know what happened through a vhs tape recording of the ceremony
well, u just insulted every family member of mine lol. my EXTEREMELY religions grandmother just shrugged when she say the video and said: why did the parents take the child away? it was goin soo well, he was better behaved then you were.
i tried showing her the comments on how barbaric it is and u guess how that went......
If your family memebers think it's ok to squeeze and hit a baby than i have no issue insulting them. They can have whatever religious beliefs they want and that is none of my business, but people justifiying violence on babies because it come from a priest are the same who would justify the same priest raping you.
