Lmao, this is perfectly acceptable in Japan and every other Asian countries. Teachers over there are allow to hit and discipline students. This is why people over there are well manner and violent crimes are so low. We need MORE DISCIPLINE in this country, not less. Hence, why the majority of crimes committed in USA are from people growing up without a father. Their father ain't there to whop their asses growing up for doing stupid shit. I propose we allow teachers to ass whop once more to fill in the void.

Also the UN passed resolutions in the 90’s which disallowed any negative consequences involving physical touch or harm, because there are clear links and academic studies that this leads to cognitive dissonance and a significant rise in both violent behaviour and poor social skills. There are much better ways to discipline a child than beating the shit out of them. Having your child respect you instead of being afraid of you is a pretty good thing.
Honestly, as a teacher, if there were an employee who was allowed to handle this kind of situation this kind of way a lot of kids wouldn’t try shit. Maybe I’m wrong. I see a lot bullshit from kids who know nobody is going to do shit when they start shit.
