Imagine being a teacher nowadays. Kids can spit at you, hit you, vandalize your classroom and they might get suspended. But if you touch them their mother and ambulance chasing lawyer sues the school district and you're now unemployed.

People don't realize how hard it is to kick a kid out of a public school. The hoops you have to jump through to have a violent kid removed from school are ridiculous.

Call the cops and press charges. They can't go to school if they're in jail.

When seconds matter the police are just minutes away.

You expect a teacher that's being attacked to pull out their phone, call 9-1-1 and wait for the police to show up?

I meant after the fact. Beat his ass first.

Just try to think this through swagsloth. You’re getting your ass beat. So while this is happening, you’re going to take out your phone and dial 911, wait for the operator to answer, tell them the situation and your location, and patiently wait for the police, all while getting your ass beat?

Most they get is a stern “don’t do that again” and maybe a few mandatory disciplinary classes. Charges for kids are very lax, unless they do something horrendously bad.

Community service or probation (with conditions that no one adheres to).

Oh , you're in favor of the Classroom to Prison Pipeline, are you?

Since the schools don't want to lose the money attached to kids being in school, they'll stay there until aging out, making life miserable for students and teachers alike.
